 We are thrilled to annouce we'll be playing the Elbo Room in lovely Chicago on Saturday, September 4th at 8 p.m.  We are the opening band, so be sure to arrive as the clock strikes eight!

 Highlights from our first two records can now be found on Bandcamp.  Bandcamp is ideal for the indie artists because you can post all of your music for free!  Check us out and support local music.

March 29th.....2010

 Author, financial analysts, and financial news website editor John Rubino has added a new section to his financial website www.DollarCollapse.com titled 'Art of The Collapse.'  The new section was suggested by an e-mail Mike Dobbins sent encouraging John to include more art, poetry, songs, etc. related to the economic meltdown.  Three songs off 'Consequences David' were inspired by economic stories.  Take a look at some of the inspired art yourself here.

 ***UPDATE - March 21st***     Due to a death in Charlies' family, we will NOT be playing The Double Door this Tuesday.  I will still be attending the show in support of the bands I recruited to play:  www.BirdAteMyDonut.com, www.VeipaCray.com and www.ImeldaDeLaCruz.com.  I hope you keep  Charlies' family in your thoughts.  I hope you will still come to the show.

 'Patience Gloria' successfully posted the song 'Possibility' at 12:00 AM today, making it the first song of not only the New Year, but also the new decade.  You can download it for free here.  And remember, keep your eyes open.  You might just run into love turning that corner.

December 27th.....2009

 Patience Gloria, led by Charlie Malave, a.k.a. Charlie Universe, will be playing The Hidout on Thursday, January 28th, 2010.  Doors are set to open at 8:00 PM.   The extraordinary "Little Star Music Box" will be Patience Gloria's back up band.  If you're in the Chicago area, please come on out.  We'll be playing the old favorites along with new ones from the upcoming record: Consequences David.

***UPDATE - Feb 12th*** ConcertLivewire.com attended The Hideout show and took some wonderfully animated photos of the band.  They also wrote the kind little blurb below.  Check it all out here.  "Power pop combo Patience Gloria followed and performed a hard-hitting set of well-written rock tunes that charged up the audience. Great vocals, high energy and solid musicianship from a group who I suspect would find approval from those boys up in Rockford, Cheap Trick."

 We are in the studio....that is....the spare room in charlie's apartment....working diligently on new music.  Stay tuned for updates and announcements.  Tentative release date is Q4 of 09 or Q1 of 10..
